New conference publications: IDEAL 2018

Members of the JRL Eneko Osaba and Javier Del Ser have recently participated in the IDEAL 2018 conference (https://aida.ii.uam.es/ideal2018), which was held in the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, Spain. Both members have participated in the development of the papers Community Detection in Weighted Directed Networks Using Nature-Inspired Heuristics (DOI: 10.1007/978-3-030-03496-2_36), Bat Algorithm Swarm Robotics Approach for Dual Non-cooperative Search with Self-centered Mode (DOI: 10.1007/978-3-030-03496-2_23) , and Differential Evolution for Association Rule Mining Using Categorical and Numerical Attributes (DOI: 10.1007/978-3-030-03493-1_9). Javier and Eneko orally present these papers.

Eneko and Javier also contributed to this conference organizing and chairing the special session Evolutionary Computing Methods for Data Mining: Theory and Applications.
