Iñigo Martinez-CriadoIbai Lana
Inigo Martinez-Criado was born in Donostia, Spain. He joined the Faculty of Informatics (https://www.ehu.eus/en/web/informatika-fakultatea) of the University of the Basque Country (Spain) to study Computer Science, obtaining his B.S. and M.S. in 2009 and 2014 respectively. He is an experienced researcher with broad skills in the research industry as the main developer of several successful engineering and R & D projects.
He joined TECNALIA (Spain) in 2010 where he has been involved on a wide range of projects, such as the improvement of different manufacturing processes in the machine tool industry, robotics and safety systems in the Oil & Gas industry. He has a particular interest in the use of descriptive, prescriptive and predictive algorithms for data mining and optimization being part of the OPTIMA area focused on data analytics and optimization where he has been focused on applying machine learning and big data techniques.
He is also a frequent Free Software contributor. He took part of the Google's Summer of Code program in 2007 on behalf of the GNOME foundation which he finally joined in 2017.
